Hello!

That is not a bad choice but be sure to check out the Sony MDR-MA900! They are a overall better headphone than HD598 and are efficient enough to be able to drive with your source

Once in a while you will see a HD600 popping up for around $200. That paired with the Schiit combo and you have a winner.

Hold out for a month and you will likely see a good deal on a HD600. They pop up quite often, but most of the time go for around $250.

Yep! They do pop out often, but it's always when I am broke. There's once I see a HD600 at $200 but only to US. So you might want to hold on for awhile.

So you mean you will be using the Schiit rig for desktop and the Sansa for on the go? That's pretty good! Do note that the MA900 are open headphone and leaks sound :)

yes, i think thats good. i have s3 for out too so i dont need ma900 for out even ma900 can drive without amp and i can use that for silent places

For $400 that will probably be the best reference rig! Can't go wrong with it!

Do report back to us on what you think about the rig when you got them :D
Billson :)

Happy listening ^_^
