the thing is...until one looks for "great" headphones, they may not even know that Sennheiser or Grado exist. Instead, all we see are the sony's, logitechs, etc... of the world.

I've had not-so-great experiences with my Senn's so far (HD497 and HD280 Pro). The DT770/80 have been the best-sounding headphones I've owned, though.

Anyways, I went for Sennheiser because their entire line is so solid from the PX100's all the way up to the Orpheus. At every price range, Sennheiser has something competitive for you.

And the HD650's are great headphones, deal with it
