Sony MDR-A35G "sport" folding headphones. The lightweight sport headphone design must be fundamentally flawed, as I have never heard a pair that is listenable. This is a little amazing to me considering how popular they were during the Walkman days. I would have thought they could design a half-decent pair. Oh well, I tried out Portapros as a result, and they rock for gym use.

Perfect place for me to post! I was going to say The Plug as well. Mainly because I read so many good things, was really excited and had to actually look around. Then I couldnt stand the sound, the time it took to put them in, or the pain caused when the cable caught something and yanked them from my ears. But I have a friend who loves them and has bought a few replacement pairs.

Speedlink Medusa 5.1 Home Edition.

I bought the more expensive Home Edition as I didn't want to have to unplug my speakers to use the Medusa's, anyway...

The sound was awful, the positioning was average and quite honestly I wonder how these got such good reviews, I really do.

I mean, it's pretty embarassing when your Sennheiser CX300 in-ear headphones produce more bass and superior SQ than a headset that costs three times the amount and isn't in-ear.

So, from now on I'm simply anti-Medusa, they are terrible, I got a refund on them luckily and I have since bought some Sennheiser HD595's, a CMoy amp and an Asus Xonar DX sound card to replace my old Audigy.

Sennheiser HD515. Bought these for about £60. They were worse than any free earbud you get (well maybe the same as the very worst). Siblant, screechy, just all around bad (in fact for that price it was so bad...maybe they were broken, I mean come on, its still Sennheiser).
Returned it the very next day, luckily it was from a local store so I was able to get a refund.
