What's the difference between DT 770 pro and DT 250?

They have different earpads and they sound different. The DT770 has round, quite big earpads that are very comfortable for most people. The DT250 has rectangular earpads that are smaller and not entirely circumaural for many people. They are still very comfortable but I'm guessing more people would have an issue with their comfort than with the DT770's.

When it comes to sound, the DT250 (250 Ohm version) is considerably more neutral than the DT770. The DT770 has emphasized bass and treble, with the midrange being noticeably recessed. The DT250 is pretty flat across the frequency range, actually it is one of the most neutral headphones out there. The most noticeable difference will be in the midrange though. The DT770 also has a more spacious soundstage than the DT250, which is very intimate by comparison. The DT770 sounds as if in an arena or concert hall, whereas the DT250 sounds like you're in a room with the band.
