2005 Hyundai Accent GT. Although my car isn't rated this high, through careful driving habits, routine maintenance, and well inflated tires I average 35mpg and get closer to 45mpg on the highway.

Wow, you must drive them really hard. Even if I drive my civic aggressively, it never goes down from 28 mpg

08 Mazdaspeed 3:

Average city driving is about 16-18 if you drive hard, but I average about 22.

Highway is about 26 average, can go + or - depending on foot placement.

Its a real rocket, and if you can keep it out of the turbo's "boost" range, you can get good mileage.

2000 4 door Accord
Mixed MPG: 27

I intentionally drive very economically on city streets. On the highway, I'm cruising from 70-80. I tried limiting myself to 65 or so, MPG improved to as high as 28.5. For the small gain, I figured it not worth my time.
