I had not planned to buy any headphones this year as I have just got a pair of AKG K501s for christmas, but the wife is now eyeing my 580s and suggesting that as I no longer need these that she could use them to listen to the telly, so I may have to get a pair of 650s.

I will try and starve myself for a while until I can afford a neat DAC for my APX setup, with a strong craving for the Bel Canto DAC2. I hope some dealer has it around town so I can give it a listen. I will have to talk to Isenberg Audio since I need 1 or 2 ICs. Then later maybe an Equinox cable for the Senns, but the waiting list is too long right now. Pandafeet, I still failed to order some. No new phones I would know of by now.

Technically my last purchase from HeadRoom was still in 04, but since they screwed up big time most of the gear will have to be exchanged, so my first aquisition in 05 shall be a *220V* Powersupply Upgrade for the Cosmic & a HeadRoom Switchbox that actually works. Bummer
