Here's your image:

But for further reference, hit the button in your reply text box that looks like a picture frame.  If you hover over the icon it will say "Insert Image."  Then click the "Image URL" tab and enter the location of the image there.

In your case the URL of your image is
http://img269.imageshack.us/img269/6004/800pxsonywalkmanwm2.jpg
Don't confuse it with ImageShack's URL
http://img269.imageshack.us/i/800pxsonywalkmanwm2.jpg/, which will link you to their website and not an image.

My first PMP was a CD player back at '05,  but can't for the life of me remember anything about the model name and such, I used to carry it on my backpack and reach over to the back of it where it was in a pocket thin enough to feel the buttons and change songs... all this while on my bike :)

My first DAP was a Coby MPC-841 256MB MP3 Player I got from a Brandsmart  5 years ago:

The round trip of getting this thing was 5 hours on bike (including in store browsing)  mostly due to looking for nearest store in my county, paid $50 for it at the time
the volume was pretty low for my $2 headphones so i had all my mp3's bumped to 106 db with mp3gain :p, this was during my the time when I was filled with audio ignorance.

Do circa 1983 big silver boomboxes that take 8 D Cell batteries count?  :)

Aside from the boombox (with Michael Jackson's Thriller and Ghostbusters Soundtrack I might add), my first true portable was one of the cheaper Sony Walkmans.  Specific model I can't remember.  First portable disc player was the discman modular511 listed on page 2, but once that bit the dust, I put this bad boy to use.

Sega CDX.  Sega Genesis, Sega CD, and portable disc player all in one.  Sure, it consumed batteries faster than any device I have ever owned, but to this day, I have never seen anyone else using one as I did :)

I had a Sony cassette Walkman in 1985. I tuned it wit an external equalizer (driven by 2 AAA batteries) on stock Sony earphones. I had to travel a lot with a train those day and listened mainly to Madonna.

something like this.

It was an SR series stereo cassete player sold by Sears in the mid 1980's. Say what you will, but it had tremendously rich sound. I found a picture of the exact model I had on eBay.

Mine was a top of the line Panasonic cassette player w/ HP from 1985~86. I have no clue what model. I wish I had a pic. After that died I went a few years until PCDP's became "cheap"...used those until a MD player, then later a Zen 20GB.
