well the px100/200's just came out when I joined. There were a couple threads on them, most prominently LTUCCI's, where he said he liked the PX200 then changed his mind and said he liked the PX100's, then sold both! ARRRGGGHHH!!
(i ended up buying the PX200 from his first favorable review of them)

It seems to me that it was all about entry level Grados (Neruda?), HD600s and whether the blue or red cables were better, Earmax or Earmax Pro and with which tubes, Tool and Radiohead post of the hour, "Is COBY any good?" Lamenting the passing of each Panasonic portable CD player, the Radio Shack CD3400 (?) portable and whether or not the crappy CD3404 was any good since it had such a close number, which op-amp should go in the CMOY, a raving idiot claiming that some semi-obtainable AT headphone (with wood ear thangs!!) was the greatest thing since bottled cheese and sliced beer - and the usual suggestable sorts diving off that cliff like lemmings, another idiot ranting about HeadRoom over their op-amp choice, The Sony R10 - and who actually had one, Koss "Plug" mods, people actually loaning out stuff to try out, and cats taking their ritalin.
