Just out of curiosity what IEM has the nicest cable? 'Nicest' to you, not

To me the Monster Turbine Pros. I love how rubbery and how little memory they have.

The a-jays look very nice but I have yet to see them in person.

That's an easy question for me. The CK100 is 1st with CK10 coming in a close 2nd. Westone is a very distant 3rd after that.

CK100 and CK10 tie on the cable front for me. The CK10 has softer strain reliefs but the CK100 has a nice L-plug. Hard to decide. IE8 would probably be third.

I really like the ones on my, IE8 and C700 denons.

I would have previously said the IE8s, but now with the Shure SE535s, it's a no brainer --> the Shure cables are the best IEM cables out there. In a pinch you can substitute them to lock up your bike.

Hat's off to Shure on the re-design!

Just got the Mee M6. For the price the cable is quite nice! I would love that on my RE0.

I second this, the M6 cables are great

I third the CK10 and CK100 - they are light, quiet, strong, and resistant to sweat. Every other iem cable cracks eventually and the CK10 survived beating I never should have dolled out: 34 degree summer rides of 4 hours and in the winter, the same, but in minus 20. They don't harden... they are heaven.

The M6 is great FOR THE PRICE, but I'd not mortgage my house on their value.

CK10's are beautifully built, like most Audio Technica gear.  My M50's look good just sitting on the table.  I almost wanted to buy the CK10's based on design and build alone but the reviews led me to believe they would be too fatiguing for me.

Here's a curveball.  Any Monster Turbine Pro with the Lifetime warranty and one-time What replacement.

Any IEM that takes standard aftermarket cables.

The CK10 has probably the best quality stock cable but it isn't user replaceable and is built heavier because of it.
My preference is a westone cable because they're light and manageable. I have them on my TF10 and JH13. When ones fails (hasn't so far), it's a quick change to a new pair. I wish all manufacturers went to a standardized connection.

The problem with the current Westone-UE-JHA style dual-pin connector is that those pins can break off inside the housing. Getting them out again is either very hard, or impossible. If those companies decided on a stronger build, then I would agree that a break away cable is top notch first class. At the moment, however, I disagree completely.

#1.  Monster Dr Dre Beats..............flat wide red cord....looks sweet.  Little to no memory.
#2.  Sony MDR-XB cables are also flat, little to no memory.......very sturdy.  I love em.

.............Okay, well the plug in replaceable are the best.  But the best ATTACHED are mentioned above.
