Well I have went head-fi crazy in the last few weeks

Modded my X-Fi
Bought a Headsix
Bought a Hornet M
Bought 2 pairs of DT770 Pros ( keeping one and selling one )

Have a Zhaolu 2.5C coming

Now looking for my next pair of open headphone.
I love the sound of the DT770 so I am keeping one for movies/gaming, but now looking for a more open sound, better mids, basically a more balanced can. Good bass is also needed, nothing bass-shy, but not dominated like my beyers.

Will be using for electronic/rock/pop, no classical or stuff like that.

Maybe around $250-300? I was thinking DT990 2005 Edition?

How about buying a lock for the Wallet Johnny? The D990 (05) would be a good choice. You could get a Senn 580-600. The Hornet will almost drive them. Until you could spend even MORE MONEY on a Home Amp LOL. You got the sickness. Welcome aboard. No Cures found here. But our Wallet will never gain weight. That's healthy isn't it?
