Funny, I wanted to recommend their little brother, the A500's (less sibilant) but these A700's are cheaper at Amazon.

These people recommended you a good variety of headphones. But most importantly is to lists these headphones and have a look yourself. If you can test them out in shop all better.

Sounds like for your usage you need a pair of close cans. FYI Sennheiser HD-238 recommended getz lots of positive review here, but its a open can. For close can with same look you can check out HD-228.

Grado is also open an open can. The person next to me owns it for a while and I can tell you I know what he's listening to every day lol.

But again if your intention is to share your love a.k.a. music then an open can can probably help you start a conversation with an attractive girl: Did I interrupt you?
