What time of day do you do your most critical music listening?

To paraphrase some text whose name and author I can't recall, nighttime is for serious endeavours. I rarely listen to any thing before midnight or after civil dawn.

I love late night listening sessions when nothing is going and you can relax in a dim room with eyes closed.

Lately it's been between the hours of 6 and 12. Right now I'm working on three projects:

Finding CD's in my collection that aren't worth owning based on recording quality alone and getting them organized to sell to the local music shop...

A C program I'm working on, which is perfect time to listen to said albums I'm sifting through...

And getting another box built. guess which two dominate my time between 6 and 11 or so (PM).

Usually late at night, after 11pm.

Btw, the two 12 o'clocks are switched around in the poll. Midnight is 12am, not 12pm.

If I'm not going to school that day, or its the weekend I listen really take the time listen to my music from like 12-2 p.m.

but most days its around 6-8 p.m. cause of school and swimming. I've also listened to my music from like 11 pm to 3 am and fallen asleep to it...

Do most of my serious listening after 10pm. I'm a bit of a night owl, and usually get my best ideas for writing and such then. Great quiet time for jamming.

I enjoy listening usually between 9-11 p.m. Mostly I listen in a dark room, but I can't close my eyes or I will fall asleep .

3mp-5pm and 8pm-12am

Right when I get home from school and while I am doing my homework.

I enjoy listening at night usually from 8PM to midnight. Also, when I get up to go to work in the morning I use some iems for some wake me up music to start the day.
