What time of day do you do your most critical music listening?

I'm in my second week of college, first time in college. And I basicly skipped my last two years of high school(still in high school, but a there is a program that if you can test into the community college, you can go there for free, starting junior year)

I have no free time, and when I do I just want to curl up with a book or a movie, or a forum..... though I love just listning to music, I love doing so many other things too

It varies with how much work I have to do. If its a slow day, I'll just relax and spin vinyl all day, if I'm swamped, then no music fun time

I guess I'm right in the middle of the pack, which surprises me because I've always thought of myself as a night owl. I voted 10pm-12pm, which I think is probably accurate these days, although for many years it was probably 12am-4am.

No time slot was good for me because I listen at various times. I never listen carefully to music between about 7pm and 8am, but I listen to music carefully with headphones at odd times during the daylight hours as the mood catches me.

I listen to music at any time of the day or night. I'll even crank up the speakers at work whenever I get the chance.

Ehhh which one to pick...I'm the combination of the 10PM-12AM/12AM-4AM groups.

Guess I'll go with the former; I rarely stay up that late only listening to music.

I would say 10-12pm.
Late at night when it is dark and quiet, plus the power grid is less polluted.

12-4AM

Done my homework for school, getting a bit sleepy, 100% sure no parents will interupt me because they went to bed already

After midnight. This is when I use music to help me settle down for the night. It's also when I don't have to worry about people being annoyed by my headphone use, as nobody's trying to talk to me.

10 pm -12 pm... that's quite the range we have there!! 14 hours!
I listen mostly at night, after 9-ish.

I am always up late, so its probably 2-4am for me, but it is always nicer listening at night, after my ears have settled down after the day. By 2 on most weeknights, my ears are much more perceptive than during the day when I walk alongside traffic and eat in noisy restaurants/dining halls etc.
