What Temperature do You Keep Your AC At?

Yep, it's been in the 70's and 80's lately here during the day.
60's at night. I rarely need AC. Just open the windows and the let the ocean breeze in.

Did they invent extremely low noise air conditioning lately or what?

Last night I was irritated during a quite passage of Mahler's fifth by the sound of bubbling coke in a glass near me .A rustling AC would force me to use canalphones inside the house.

Not to get too off topic, but deoderant isn't meant to stop you from sweating....you just wont smell likes a monkey's ass.

I also keep my Window unit at 68F, but that's because it is a tiny (6000BTU), but very efficient unit that seems to keep the entire cat apartment quite cool. I actually like it a bit warm, but dryer. I know when to turn the AC down when I see the cats pressing their little faces up against the window for warmth...

In the winter, because it is cold outside,my wife needs to keep the house at 78 degrees...she just looks outside, and shivers, then checks that the thermostat is set at 78...

When it is hot outside (over 75 or so), she sets the thermostat around 65 or so...

In the interests of Marital Harmony, I leave the subject (and the thermostat) alone...

go figure...

I'm working at Intel for the summer. The weather here would be perfect if it was: A. Predictable and B. Wasn't raining every other day.
