What song drops the deepest bass?

I always listen to miami bass group Bass Outlaws's track "3 Kinds of Bass", it's good to test the LFE unit in my 2.1 system:

I'm usually into metal, but I like this genre a lot.

Darn I wanted to post this and then I did a search and of course someone already did but it was about 10 years ago! :)

Spoiler, check around the 2:20 mark if you don't want to hear the whole thing.

Back 'in the day' when I installed some of the most kick ass car audio, this was my favourite track (Chemical Bros - Under The Infleunce) to really loosen up the big speakers and warm everything up. Oh My GOD........ one particular guy just loved his audio and had a commercial 4x4 just so he could get as much kit into it. He got the pro head unit and some thumping amps with the best subs and speaker combo we could arrange - just under €5k at the time. Took him out for a test drive, parked up once he seemed happy and then stuck this track on and upped the volume. I felt sick from my kidneys and internals being hit by the bass. We got his lil' air freshener to bounce around  on the rear view mirror. He just couldn't stop smiling. Loved his sounds. Takes me back everytime. Great tune.

Here's another one from my own "back in the days"... It's some french hip-hop from 1998, at the time it was my one and only most bass-head tune ever. It's a band called NTM, very popular on this side of the world, I mean in France. It probably doesn't drop as phat as all the recent stuff, but considering it's 17 years old it was very impressive at the time and deserves some respect IMHO.

Some seriously low, clean bass on this one.  One of my fav torture test tracks.

I'm pretty sure it's either Wiz Khalifa's "On My Level" or the lowest portions of Celph Titled's "So Cold". Both get into the low 20's.

That's not a good thing either, it's approaching the audible limit and also goes under the tuning frequency of any intelligently made car system so those low notes end up not sounding like much. :P

If you really want to show off subwoofers, there's a good bit of "bass showoff" music around. One of the original staples of this genre is Techmaster PEB. Tracks 1 and 2 from his most famous album, Activate and Time To Jam show this off quite well.

I've always liked the vibe from "I Like The Boom":

Then for essentially continuous runs from 25 Hz to around 80 Hz (musically) there's Bassgasm:

There are other artists and albums with similar stuff if you really want to show off bass performance. Bass 305, Illegal Bass, Bass Mechanik, etc.

I've got a remix of Phil Collins' In The Air Tonight that's subharmonized. It hits around 30Hz at essentially 0 dB (the loudest you can record digitally) and just about full scale on a bunch of really low notes. It's really dangerous because it can easily damage small speakers (6" or smaller) and make them bottom out without it even being all that obvious because the bass is so low. But with big subwoofers it's unreal.

Brian.
