What size techflex for Starquad?

For headphones, wouldn't you want something like this?

I now use the miniature Star-Quad for almost everything. To me, it sounds exactly the same as the regular star-quad but adds WAY more flexibility. If you're recabling headphones I'd highly recommend it. Plus, the 1/8th tech flex fits over it perfectly.

Yeah, I think the mini starquad is good, since it's more flexible. The overall diameter is 4.8 mm for mini, whereas the regular is 6 mm. If you want mini starquad, look at the Mogami W2893 or the Canare L-4E5C. You can use 1/8" techflex or 3/16" nylon multifilament. If you go with the regular starquad, such as the Mogami W2594 or the Canare L-4E6S, you can use 1/8" techflex or 1/4" nylon multifilament.
