I've got around to thinking about it, and now I'm trying to consider what I should do with my iRiver SlimX 350, one of the last CD players they made. I currently never use it for anything and it just sits in my gear case. No one in my family that I know of is looking for a better CD player than ones that flat out suck, and I wonder if I should part with it. My Karma does everything now, and serves as both my home and portable music hub. Should I ditch the PCDP, or should it continue to serve as my backup?

I say keep it. I've never owned a Karma before, but if all the horror stories of it's hard drive are true you might need that 350 later.

Keep it. It's one of iRiver's best and one of the best MP3 CD players ever made. It's a legendary device. I'm keeping my iRiver gear, especially the iMP-550 (optical out!).

Keep it as a backup, I have a imp-550 as well and its quite a good pcdp.
Sell it if u need the money to buy another pair of headphones.
