I'm not wearing any shoes at the moment, but I wear DM's almost every day. I've had them for over a year and probably worn them all but a week of that time. They're thrashed, but they're steel toed so it looks better than new.

socks at the moment.

Everyday travel : Red/White Nike Air Force I, Black K-Swiss classic, White K-Swiss Classic, Blue/White Jordan 10.5 jumpman, Brown/Grey High top Iversons, Pair of brown Timberland boots, a pair of nice leather dress shoes, and a pair of Tiger Woods Gore-Tex golf shoes.

Cheap slippers from who knows where. They've gotten to the point where my foot adheres to the inside of the slipper due to accumlated grime. I'll get some decent ones at Christmas.

When I go somewhere, usually Adidas Climacool. I sweat a lot, and these keep me dry. Not good to accidentally hit a puddle in, but otherwise, they're great. If it's hot out or I don't feel like putting socks on, I'll put on either my flip-flops or $2 Wal-Mart sandals. (that have now been duct-taped together)

And for yardwork or scaring small children, nothing but steel toed combat boots
