right now it's the dynamic rig, with stuff gone out for modding so i'm making do-

Home - Modded 0404 pumping 256AAC VBR iTunes analog out to the Melos, and the HP2 plugged into the headphone out of the Melos.

Portable - iPod to turbodock to MisterX mini to mini to AE-1 to stock cabled portapro drivers on KSC-35 clips under a wool hat under a hood - it's DARN COLD and i'm using these till it warms up and i can use my recabled KSC-35 on their portapro headband!

Barely have time to listen at home anymore (but I have time to post useless nonsense from work at head-fi?). These days it's the Fisher PCD5400 --> Kimber IC --> Stax SR-001, or the Kenwood HD20GA7 --> Westone ES2. Nice portable setups, though the first is more of a transportable thing. I definitely prefer the SR-001 over the ES2, but both are pretty good, and the latter isolates very well too, which is a necessity when you have to deal with the thundering wrath of our dual Xeon server.

Cowon X5L--> Shure E5c

I could pick up my DT880s as I am at home and they are within reach at the moment, but as I am studying at the moment, and my headphone cable does not manage to reach my table, why bother with switching for a few minutes? I am not listening critically anyway...

Nooooo, I just busted the right eartip on the SR-001! How am I to wait the 5 days until I get a replacement? How?!?!? Oh, the torture!!!!!!!!

Eh... guess I'll have to live with the HD600 for a while. Oh well

at least the tips are a dime a dozen.
