Ok, I've taken the plunge and just ordered an AMP3 from Craig over at Whiplash Audio. Hopefully that will come soonish

Sandisk Sansa Fuze is only 8gb, but its a fantastic and cheap little player that plays Ogg and Flac as well as MP3.
Most of my music collection is archived as flac, and transcoded to -q7 OGG for portable listening. The fuze plays all of that, and its super cheap, plus its fantastic audio quality.
Im a broke mofo so bigger than 8gb is not feasable for me. But I listened to an 8gb fuze and a 16gb ipod nano newest gen and the fuze hands down sounded better.

You can seamlessly add up to 16GB to the Fuze with a microSD card.
