We must feel that there was some classics from the movement? There does not need to be importance of what IS newage and what is not. Just anything you play now that you think is newage would work.
Tangerine Dream, David Lans & Paul Speer, various other Narada albums, Mars Lasar, Enya, Anael & Bradford, Mike Oldfield....... that's all I can think of at the moment.
There is a series of CDs titled Wellness Music, Sleep, Mind & Spirit, Quiet Times...etc. I play them when the Masseuse visits and when I have trouble falling asleep.
Everything from the Hearts of Space label, and most from pre-BMG (i.e. pre-Jim Brickman) Windham Hill, still sounds wonderful today. And then there are the more adventurous and innovative sides of Private Music (Patrick O'Hearn) and Narada (their Mystique line - sans David Arkenstone - and some of their Lotus line; their Equinox line does not age very well)
