What makes you a head-fier (why do you search for great sound)?

For me, music is one of those things that can change my mood from one end of the spectrum to the other. I can get pumped up for my soccer games by listening to certain songs, get into a calm one in order to fall asleep, etc.

I've also been playing classical music in my school's orchestra for almost 10 years, so I've seen music from the inside out, and that has given me a unique insight to music of all kinds.

There's nothing quite as fun as playing the Pirates of the Caribbean Theme live for an audience in Walt Disney World. Listening to it is one thing but playing is something else entirely.

So, for me listening to music, and having that music be as clear and true as possible is very fulfilling with regards to my playing. I don't play anymore, unfortunately, because I don't have the time, but I still enjoy the memories.

THAT is why I'm becoming a Head-Fi-er.

Music is another world, almost like meditating without putting in any real effort. The better the equipment the wider and pearlier the gates to the sonic dimension.
