I see more live music than anyone I know, and not even by a small amount. The last year was a light year for live music for me, but I did see quite a few bands. In no particular order, and just last year (because it's hard to remember at this point)...

Umphrey's McGee (6 times)
Phish (3 times)
moe. (3 times)
Disco Biscuits (4 times)
Bassnectar (3 times)
Steve Kimock (2 times)
Keller Williams (3 times)
Beastie Boys
GWAR (2 times, including once where I hurt myself badly)
SOJA (2 times)
Lotus (2 times)
Les Claypool
Dark Star Orchestra (3 times)
Willie Nelson
Sound Tribe Sector 9 (2 times)
Cake
Wu-Tang
Ben Harper and Relentless 7
Buckethead
Yonder Mountain String Band (2 times)
Bob Weir & RatDog
Snoop Dog
Nine Inch Nails
Bela Fleck
The Mars Volta
The Forgotten Heros
Clutch (2 times)
Perpetual Groove (2 times)
Galactic
Trey Anastasion and Classic TAB
Jack Johnson
The Faint
Marco Benevento
Tea Leaf Green

Hmm, I bet I could come up with more (adding them as I remember), but those are just off the top of my head. Hopefully I'll see more shows this year!

You should try keeping a list... I started jotting down an "upcoming concerts" calendar just so I wouldn't forget any of them, but then I quickly realized that it was easy enough to turn that into a list of all the concerts I've been to... I like having a list that I can look back on and I'm sure years down the road I will appreciate it even more.

The past year, in chronological order:

Masada Sextet
The Dreamers (O'o premiere)
Astronome: A Night at the Opera (not sure this counts as a concert, but...)
The Pogues
Pascal Fricke & Amina Djugum
Beat Circus
Marc Ribot tribute concerts (Rashanim, Marco Capelli, Anthony Coleman, Grey Gersten, Eyal Maoz, etc.)
Marc Ribot & Marco Capelli playing the music of Frantz Casseus
Marc Ribot's Sunship
Marc Ribot y Los Cubanos Postizos & Cotito Trio & La Cumbiamba Eneye
Marc Ribot & Young Philadelphians & Ceramic Dog
Secret Chiefs 3
Improvisation set at the Stone (Maoz, Fruchter, Gosling, Speed etc)
Naomi Shelton
The Holmes Brothers
Boston Band Crush: One Night Band
Ketman & Reverend Glasseye & Beat Circus & Mucca Pazza
Jolie Holland w/ Grey Gersten (2 concerts in one night)
Mark Sandman (Morphine) memorial concert
Mono & Maserati
Marika Hughes w/Shahzad Ismaily et al.
Ceramic Dog
Boston Symphony Orchestra (Stravinsky/Rachmaninoff/Shostakovich)
Boston Symphony Orchestra (Beethoven #1, #2, #5)
Nino Joseles Quartet
Beat the Donkey & Wollesonic & Edom
Greg Brown
Boston Symphony Orchestra (Haydn, Bach and Schubert with Yo-Yo Ma)
Luciana Souza Trio w/Cyro Baptista
Ladysmith Black Mambazo

I didn't hurt myself at any of them like you did, but I did get hit in the face with a drumstick

I've mostly been going to smaller smaller local shows (don't know if you can call them concerts) but some of the bands I've seen is the past year are:

Porcupine Tree (this past Friday night)
The Mars Volta
Opeth
Dream Theater (Pain of Salvation were the support act)
The Kidney Thieves (a few times - great local band)
Dead Letter Circus (another local band)
Psycroptic
Alarum

I'm seeing ISIS play on the 18th, which should be a great show.

singapore has concerts mainly by crappy mainstream artists coz audience here have a very shallow taste in music.

but NIN performed here last year in august.......had some vodka ..man..the best concert of my life.

ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.
