What is your hearing range??

I can't hear past 18kHz from one of the abundant tests available on the web. If I go see an audiologist it might be different but that's good enough for me. Have yet to hear music w/ such high freq. myself in my collection.

Using analog or wideband source and amp is crucial here. From a personal computer it's quite probable you hear aliasing artefact instead of something near or above 20kHz. I connected Sennheiser HD438 and Sony MDR-EX700LP to the Wayne-Kerr 3260B Magnetic Analyzer at various amplitudes and what I realized was:
- the Sony's don't play sounds below 40Hz, so this makes no sense
- the Sennheiser's don't play above 17kHz so this makes no sense, either
Based on both, I hear up to 18600kHz, 18700kHz is silence for my ears at any volume, 100Hz less isn't silence. I hear the 20Hz tone from the Sennheiser but the meter doesn't go lower. It's good to be sure that you test your hearing instead of your equipment.

I can hear pretty much all of 20-20k. It seems to me that only like 30-16k is important tho.

late EDIT: I find it impossible to believe people that claim they can hear past 20k and that such freqs. are actually relevant.

Strikes me as funny.  Of course you don't hear those frequencies in your music, if those frequencies are beyond your hearing range

22Hz-18kHz. Decidedly average. I don't really think I'm missing out on much...

I tested this out using my home setup. Volume on Valhalla at 9:00, which is my regular listening level. I would say my range is 16 to under 20kHz.

I could definitely hear (or rather, feel) 16 Hz, but I had a really hard time with 20KHz (my computer fan was really loud as well). The next test file I had was 16KHz, which I could definitely hear, but I had nothing in between 16 kHz and 20kHz.

20Hz to 19kHz with a Beyer DT880 and at higher volumes toward the extremes (to combat F-M). Kinda annoying I couldn't reach the theoretical 20kHz (at age 22), but I can't say I feel like I'm missing anything, nor do I believe I've done any damage as I almost never listen to music at high volume.
