Speaking of which.....anybody know the background lyrics in "Angelsea"?

) Cat Stevens, Linda Lewis, Alun Davies, Gerry Conway, and Alan James

Fragile came out in 1971 in the UK.

Its a really touch pick for me, but I could shortlist it to Thick As A Brick and Cant Buy A Thrill from the options brought up here if I was pushed I think.

But what are they singing? To me, it sounds like "Ooom bah dah sigh ko way, ooom bah dah kwah..."

Someone asked that on Yahoo Answers and the only reply contained the lead vocal lyrics, and I've not found anything else via Google.

In the past month, I've bought all the Steely Dan remasters and all the Cat Stevens remasters from "Tea" through "Buddha"........I guess I'm just an old fart now, but the craft of Becker/Fagen and Stevens seems sorely missing from most contemporary music.

I'd forgotten how great a year that was. In addition to the LP's, because I had a car and a portable Eight Track player at the time, I also bought most of the albums mentioned in this thread on Eight Track. Still have them in storage as a matter of fact. It was a real toss-up between Transformer, FoxTrot, Harvest, and Ziggy for me, but I voted for Ziggy.
