What is your experience with Reddit Headphones vs Head-FI in terms of discussion.

This isn't reddit in general but I don't understand the hype and cult following around Zeos. His reviews barely describe the sound of the headphones and are mostly just rambling and I don't understand how he can classify the QC35ii as a "neutral" headphone on his hifi guides.
I know people like him, but is there a cult around Zeos? I don't find his videos informative (but I do find them nauseating with all that camera motion), so I just ignore him... and anything positive anybody says about him.

Just before closing my account I just got this dude downvoting few of my comments that praised the BA versions of Etymotic. That a another thing I can't stand about the place. It's full of users who have no idea what talking about parroting what the sub views are and just assume its hard fact while being jerks about it. Imagine thinking that okay or mature way of dealing with disagreeing with my posts. Because I really loathe how overhyped dynamic drivers are there since in there view nothing can beat them. But give them 5 reasons why there not really that good cue -12 with immature replies.

For context, the dude got really upset with how the ER4SR bass THD is 0,6% at 100db. Gave me 2 replies how BA's can't do bass and just going with the dynamic hype there, While hiding behind his ER4B impression to not sound like a hater.

So far, just being a member for 1 day, it's being very helpful. :)

Yeah it light years ahead here, With how much of joke /r/headphones impressions and opinions on stuff is. Really weird how the sub got angry that schiit amps mainly the older ones measure poorly, But will call for blood on headphones that rate poor. While the mods are too busy punishing anyone asking for advice.

Most headphone forums including this one are quite kind. I've noticed an unusual amount of grace and willingness to teach here and the headphones.com forum. In contrast to reddit where they are just aching to argue, or prove how smart they feel they are. A lot of contrarian attitudes. You'd think most people hate headphones there instead of find joy in them.

I'd agree with this - the community here is several steps up!

I like him because his really passionate about headphones! Same with Steve Guttenberg. I think we all just want an emotional reaction when we listen to that perfect headphone, and as important as measurements are, at the end of the day it just comes down to how they make us feel. I always love listening to someone be passionate about something they love. It's contagious!

Reddit Headphones been a joke for years where It nothing but people hyping the HD650 to near cringe levels when the Saundra & ER4XR outperform It by miles. The sub became even worse when the HD8XX was getting negative reviews everyone from SBAF started threatening anyone while the mods ignored It.

It literally just SBAF lite in that your not instantly banned but It super hard to not end up being downvoted for no reason at all.
