Ooooh... a fun thread.

Records from my birth year that I happen to own would be:
Peter Gabriel - Peter Gabriel 4 / Security
Kate Bush - The Dreaming
Cocteau Twins - Garlands
Michael Jackson - Thriller
Anne Clark - The Sitting Room

The first two are firmly in my all time faves, and the rest is far from bad. Seems like '82 wasn't too shabby.

Horrible thread... My birth year truly sucks I see, having a hard time finding any good records. To name some decent ones:

Klamydia - Älpee
Skid Row - Skid Row

Most of the music I like is newer, and all my favorite bands also seem to skip ´89. xD

I was surprised because there were a lot of young people.
It looked for from among my iTunes Library.
The mistake might be found. Please point it out.

Now you're just making me feel old!

1978 without a doubt Kate Bush: The Kick Inside. And Wuthering Heights was very nearly my birth song (i.e. number 1 at the time).
