I feel like the only ones who can actually make the FD7 obsolete by improving on it are FiiO.

They'll actually release the FD17 by October, if it's not delayed.

I really like the EA1000, especially the way it makes string instruments sound, but I had to sell it due to how it fitted me. Not too sure if the EA500 is as good.

Go ts 316 on dc elite. Only one iem that isnt blured, blunted against cantor even ea 1000 is. But ts 316 dont work on warm sources.

Absolutely worth it.
This is a beautifully tuned set, with nice brightness, air movement, a melodic midrange and a quite punchy bass

SP01, well-balanced between bass mids and treble. I only like it with the clear nozzle and wide bore tips for the cleanest sound that can really show off the driver’s musical texturing. Other variations are too muddy in the bass or the pinna gain is in a less natural position to my ears. The bassy response works well but a touch less forward upper mid/lower treble would’ve sealed this one for me personally.
