What is the best OPEN and CLOSED headphone 900-1500?

If there was an answer to that it would be very difficult for the other guys to sell their headphones

Best headphones based on:

1. Sound quality? Still too vague. What kind of music do you listen to? Do you want neutral sound? Boosted bass? Boosted mids? Boosted highs?
2. Comfort? Not all human heads and ears are the same.
3. Build quality? Some headphones are made tough but ugly, others are fragile but more beautiful, others more functional
4. Do you want to hear every detail of the music, or do you want headphones that are more enjoyable to listen to where the details might not be as apparent
5. The list goes on...

I am clearly to one way for open headphone, vocals details overal sound are more natural airy. But closed headphones have kind of similar feel to inears so maybe it feels sometimes more acurate define clear. But do not have expereince with newer closed headphones which have nice impressions ZMF for example.

want to hear every detail of the music
You should be able to get a used Stax set (electrostatic headphones and an energiser) for around $1500. That's about as detailed as it gets for the money.

For detail, Hd800 and Hd800s are excellent. But like everyone will keep telling you, there is no way you’ll get any true recommendation without giving a lot more info, sound preferences, current set up, price new or used...like they said the list goes on. Unless your question is just what WE like.
