HI, I have a ATH-W5000. It is a beautiful headphone. I find 'Raffinato' on the ATH-W5000 surface.

Is any english-speaker can tell me what this word means? I can not find its' meaning in Oxford Dictionary. Is it have some special meaning in English ?

What's wrong with Italian? My Raffinato is heavenly with Italian amp. Italians seems to have a lock on musically refined instruments and components, imo.

Yeah it would be Gewahlt (letter a with two dots above it - umlaut).
Can you imagine THAT written on these beautiful cans?

That would sound more like name of German industrial metal band.

Actually it is more like "veredelt" or "verfeinert" in German.

We also have some nice words here in the middle of Europe.

Hmm. I don't necessarily have a large head and they fit me well.

You never know I guess.

try to tilt them 20-30 deg forward in dirction into forehead and pres them at the point where arc and wings supports connect - they even for me sound fuller when I do this - this arc is simply wrong design - should have much more clamping force and exit the connexion point at different angle
