What gear do I really want?
HF-2
What I can afford?
Nothing

Lost my job after a car accident and just trying to make ends meet. I missed the HF-1 buy and was very bummed. I'm hoping I can sell enough of my unused stuff to cover the HF-2 but they are pretty expensive. Figures they would come out just when I've got no income.

Hopefully with the next few paychecks I will get some of this:

ASUS Xonar Essence or E-MU 0404 usb (haven't decided)
Fan Controller (so I can hear my music)
Moar case lights for my case
One of those panels with the on/off switches so all my expansion slots aren't filled with light switches
Windows 7 pre-order
Paiste PST 5 19" Rock Crash cymbal
Evans EMAD 2 Bass drum head
Evans 12" 13" and 16" EC Reso tom heads

By the end of the year:
1080p monitor
New Receiver
Tube amp
New set of shells for my drumset
Drum Corps tour fees *cross fingers*
Custom iems

ahahah danngit --- well if it is any consolation the two 500gbs a while ago...space was more important to me than speed at the time.

For those seeking hard drives, check out Western Digital's green drives. I picked up two 1TB drives over a year ago and now they are down to $75 a piece. If you didn't know, they run 5400-7200 RPM on demand. VERY quiet and VERY cool running drives.
