I bought a lot of vacuum tubes on eBay and ended up with a bunch of nice ones. I also got what's in the picture. Does anyone know what it is, if it's even a vacuum tube? Thanks.

That almost looks like a light bulb, frankly.

A vacuum tube with just the filament. Or a lightbulb.

I think there are only two electrodes going into the base, so it probably only lights up.

You know, it looks like an old projector bulb to me.

Hang onto it - old lightbulbs are cool, too.

Wow, you're right. It's an old GE movie projector bulb, 300 watts. It was going to bother me not to know what it was. Thanks.
