What iPod owners have been waiting for - Griffin iFM: radio, remote and recorder

After reports of its death were prematurly reported (used to be designed to work off the Apple remote), looks like a new iFM going to be released. Add several features to your iPod at once. See here.

iFM integrates FM radio tuning, recording and remote control functionality to the iPod.

If either the FM or recording turns out to be quality, I will buy one. I don't really see that happening though, based on previous experience with griffin products.

It's highly unlikely to offer anything other than the just-about-OK-for-voice recording quality that iTalk does.

It's a pity that it's only semi-functional with iPod minis.

Oh, so true. Their previous attempt at radio via iPod was the most disappointing failure of any product I've bought in years.... I was much happier with my pocket fisherman, and my Best of Boxcar Willie CD.
