HF-1 #58! I guess I'll post impressions later, but I just have to listen right now. Talk about musicality, PRaT, and all those other amorphous undefined adjectives... If you thought the Prestige lineup had it, you need to check out the HF lineup. I might even go as far as to say that this will be the end of the line headphone-wise for me. I'll post pics later today.

EDIT: Of course, thanks to Mr. Sneis for selling me these wonderful headphones!

Not bad, not bad. Give the HF-2s a try if you can, refines the HF-1 sound even more.

I've tried the HF-2's, I guess I didn't see the hype enough to drop the extra $200. At the meet, the HF-1 on a well-configured midrange setup (one that has sound characteristics I would usually consider agreeable) sounded better to me than the HF-2 on a setup of equal quality, but different characteristics. Maybe I even prefer the HF-1 sound to the HF-2. I'll never know, I don't think, since I have no plans whatsoever to buy the HF-2.
