Recently I've been interested in possibly getting a set of portable cans, been eyeing out the M50 and HD25 right now. Currently my music gets played out of an iTouch 4g and my iPhone 4 and I have a Fiio E6. How do these cans rate against these IEMs i've had in the past:
HF3 - way too analytical and not enough bass for me (sold)
Westone 3 - like the treble, decent sound stage, and good bass (lacking slightly)
MMDT - these were spot on with the bass for me, but would sacrifice some bass for better highs.
I guess im looking for something right in between the W3 and MMDT for sound. Any recommendations of the 2 (or other cans) that i should consider? Price range is about $200. i listen to mostly EDM and would like these to seal well (main reason ive been considering the hd25). I'll use these headphones for almost everything from traveling, listening to music, and watching movies. Thanks for the help!
*edit* if you think my IEMs are good enough and i wont benefit from cans within my price range, not spending money is a plus too.
