Im looking to buy some full size over ear headphones, around 150. i was looking at the ath m50, as they are only 111 on amazon. any other recommendations?

I was in the same situation as you. Here's some I bought and compared:

From my brief experience with the M50s I would have rated them somewhere between the AKGs and Ultrasones (although more similar to the latter)
