Hi all, I was wondering if anyone knows of CD ripping software that'll actually rip from CD to 320kbps mp3 format that's free?

Thanks

I use foobar with LAME and am perfectly happy. I use V0 rather than 320 locked though for my zune, in other words, what isn't lossless is V0.

Before I was lassoed by iTunes, I used Music Match Jukebox v7. It was very easy to use and had this super tagging thing that made it easy to build play lists with. Nearly free, it came with Lyra MP3 players, or you can get it at oldversion.com.
I eventually ante'd up and got v7 deluxe on ebay for a few bucks.

EAC is what you need. Use FLAC for lossless and then transcode to mp3 as necessary with dbpoweramp + LAME (or use foobar if you don't want a separate program).

EAC guarantees 100% flawless, gapless rips with secure mode.

To be honest these days any cd ripper is good.
I've recently reverted back to trusty sonicstage cp for my rips, with 320 high quality it sounds way better than lame.
Try a few and see which you like best.
