What Dynamic IEMs Should I Consider Other Than the IE80 at Its New ~$300 Price Point?

Hello all,

Title says it all. I was about to pull the trigger on the IE80 but figured I would do my due diligence and make sure I wasn't overlooking anything. I would go $350 maximum if the alternative is significantly better.

Additionally, I am not interested in armature IEMs (I have a couple), looking for that tasteful dynamic sound color.

Thanks for the help!

I know what you mean about the difference in sound, but just a note to say that Balanced Armatures can produce excellent bass; it's just that it only tends to show it's true ability in very skillfully-tuned multi-BA IEMs/CIEMs at TOTL price-points ($1000 bucks or more). Even then, one has to choose very carefully. But it can be done, so just keep that in mind if you contemplate something more expensive at some point in the future.

In the meantime, good luck with your current dynamic-driver IEM purchase
