For me, Paul (hembergler) told me about the Boston/NE meet when it was first scheduled. I wanted to go, because i'm a stereo guy, but I decided I should get some reputation here before I went. Before I knew it I became a lot more interested in headphone audio, spent a lot of time here learning about headphones, and somehow got my post count above 100 in less than two weeks. Now, thanks to you guys, i'm going to be putting my hard-earned money towards new headphones and headphone accessories

Constant referrals due to my utter whining that my bose triports were not making me happy and doing the job adequatly, the ex71's were utterly painful (as were the triports btw), and the Hd477's (or Hd-497's maybe) I think I bought at the time a few years back were too big for my ears back then.

The Audio Advisor catalog arrived around the holidays last year and I decided to buy a nice pair of headphones. The Sennheiser HD-650 looked good, so I bought a pair.

I found Head-fi because I was sick and tired of suffering my EX70's. Got a pair of PX100's, then a pair of ER4's. Eventually I resolved to stop lurking and actually joined, and then got the HF-1s.
