IMO, Vista was such a clusterf*** that I refused to install it. I am a professional software developer, as are many of my friends. They were so anxious to upgrade and regretted it big time, and had to go back to XP. Here were are about 18 monthe later. I went to Windows 7 back in November and am loving it. It is what Vista should have been. Much faster then XP, handles resources better, and better to look at. Also good to know - the Microsoft Security Essentials is 100% free and integrates beautifully with Windows 7. And it performed very competitively with some of the best virus and malware products around, including commercial ones.
