What do you like on your steaks?

When I used to eat steaks: fried eggs, dash of salt, black pepper. Yum....

I dunno, a screaming hot cast iron skillet can do a pretty good job on a steak.

Salt makes food (pretty much all food) taste better. You don't need a lot, but salt is required.

Scotch Fillet cooked on a un oiled pan with Sea Salt. Then when done some garlic sauce

I wish restaurants would subscribe to that point of view. I'm increasingly finding that many chains (Chilis, Ruby Tuesday and Godfathers being the biggest offenders) love to DOUSE their food in salt. Asking for half salt isn't enough- it's that bad.
