I'm an assistant (in the area of Food and Beverage management) and internship coordinator at Estoril's Higher School for Tourism and Hotel Studies. I also co-own a company in the area of gourmet groceries.

I'm a mechanical engineering undergrad student, and on breaks I work as a mechanical engineering intern at a small government contractor.

I work with geographic information systems (GIS) and spend most of my time designing databases by day. By night, I attempt to finish writing my Master's thesis in landscape ecology and see to my baby's every need.

Engineering Aide (electrical). I work with the design engineers doing R&D for military communications systems. I build prototypes of new designs, do schematic entry and such, evaluate components for suitability in our radios, (which is mainly what I'm doing at the moment) and occasionally get to do some design and simulation work. I also do hardware debug of new designs, which is always fun.

I test software. I've been doing that and occasional network / server admin work for more than 10 years.

By night, I'm a star in the Pleiades.

By day, I put the articulating ribs in bendy-straws by hand. Also, I'm in charge of coming up with unique geometries for curly-staws. The latter has left me with a violent addiction for meclizine.
