I am not very good with tech but I wanted to pair the Beyerdynamic DT990s with the Astro MixAmp. I’m not sure what ohm the headphones need to be in and what I need to pair it with for gaming.Do I need something extra for them to work?

Some people have been able to drive their 250-Ohm Beyer headphone off the Astro Mix-amp.
A FiiO A3 headphone amplifier ($60) can be daisy chained off the Astro Mix-amp.

depends on which version of the DT990s you have.I use to run the 300ohm HD600 thru the Astro Mixamp with good results.
The 600ohm Beyer T1 needed to be bi-amped.
