What Codec do you use?

Used to rip in 192 kbit WMA, but after a bout of audiophilia nervosa I changed to 320 kbit MP3. Planning to upgrade to wav when I purchase an 8 Gb portable player. Hard disk space is not really an issue anymore.

I'm having sudden doubts about iTunes' AAC encoder... I know that at lower bitrates it's better than LAME mp3, but at higher ones? Damn, I'm so paranoid...
Question: with FLAC, is there lag during playback because it has to decode?

There's no noticeable lagtime on any computer that isn't completely ancient, at least not through foobar. I can play gapless with my FLAC files, so I'm pretty sure that means that there's no lag in there. At least it's gapless to my ears.
