On Shoutcast, I usually listen to Digital Gunfire or sometimes EBM Radio, or occasionally Mostly Classical or Radio Darvish if I am looking for something different. These are all Internet-only streams.

I listen to Secret Agent, Beat Blender and Groove Salad (all from SomaFM) on Shoutcast. great music to study to. Secret Agent is really cool, jazzy lounge and beats, interspersed with snippets from spy/Bond movies.

KUCI 88.9 FM from the University of California, Irvine

KUCI Stream See sig.

Not just my show but the entire station is awesome. No mainstream music allowed to be played at KUCI so you get everything from underground blues, reggae, rock, experimental, and electronic and more. Definitely check it out.

Here are some good links to "streaming" music from college stations:

KCRW - "Morning Becomes Eclectic" is especially good
Presented by Santa Monica City College

KXLU - Less polished than the others, a lot indie bands & more
Presented by Loyola Marymont University

KJAZZ - World class, Jazz & Blues programming
presented by California State University, Long Beach

KPFK - Off beat music, & radical politics
A Pacifica network station, non commercial
