Etys ER4s for noisy. (cutting grass, work in noisy spaces)
AT EW-9 for active environment. (work in business atmosphere)
RS-1s for quiet indoor or car listening.

My version of portable phones are phones that I lug from home to work, where I sit at a desk in front of a computer for most of my listening sessions. As such, they do not need to be small. With that cleared up, my portable phones are the Denon D2000s.
