thanks joker i know youre very well respected on this forum. Do you know where the cyclones are available for sale?

Nowhere. They were discontinued late last year. Sometimes a pair pops up on the FS forum here, usually at a higher price than when they were new.

eQ7, TF10, UM2
(I've tried Shure E2C, E5C, SCL5, SE530, Westone UM1, UE SuperFi 5, MetroFi..., Sennheiser IE8, Sleek SA6, Klipsch X10)

e-Q7 loses points for microphonics. TF10(vi) loses points for awkward fit and awful stock cable - but kudos for being replaceable.

________

e-Q7 seems to be doing well. Does anyone else think TF10 would do even better (here and in general) if it was more comforable/ergonomic?

I am new to this forum
atsmile.gif

1. IE8 - very comfortable wear feeling

2. Shure scl5 - lots of details

3. Denon D7000 - beautiful look. want to buy one in the future.

Recently, I desire to have Earsonics SM3 because of so many articles about how great they are on this forum.

Radius DDM - Earthily detailed, organically textured, eargasmically bassilicious.

Shure se530 - Ectoplasmically smooth.

Panasonic HJE900 - Pin sharp all rounder with amazing flyaway filters.

$$$: TF10 ($230) - detailed, balanced, great bass for BA drivers, and cheap for top-end phones.

$$: HJE900 ($130) - Great sparkle, great bass, great look. Total all-rounders

$: Altec Backbeat Titanium ($45) - For their price, they're surprisingly free of weaknesses. They show their price when I head-to-head against my best. Then again, I'm not taking my TF10s for a run in the rain.

1: UM3X. These were my first REAL top tier IEMs and I loved them to death. Amazing instrument separation and power/bass/speed. Didn't want to change them until I got my K702s and realized the bump in bass that they had.

2: ER4S: Clearer and revealed more detail than the UM3Xs. I sold (1) and have these now and love them; the isolation is amazing. I can't hear anything going on at all when using the foam tips (which are very good IMO).

3: Triple.Fi 10s: They were my go to phones for electronic, metal, rap, and pop music. The bump in the treble and moderate size of the soundstage just made everything pop and have so much energy; great phones to listen to up-beat music with.

Of course I love my K702s more than all of these and if it weren't for the WiFi only working outside (I'm forced to sit by the pool) at the condo, I'd be using those right now.
