CK100 - the forward mids and the luxurious female voice with this baby is what make it still my most enjoyment when listening to music
stax srm001 mk2 - dont know if its considered as IEM but darn this baby can always make me high to sound nirvana each time i spend my time with it.
fischer audio eterna - the phones when i need to rock on... plug in and crank the volumes up and ure ready to rock.... fun sounding phones with an atittude
man i wish i could try out a couple of your guys top ones. i dont think ive ever tried a really high end phone im wondering what music really sounds like lol. waiting on the money to buy a good one.
$$$: TF10 ($230) - detailed, balanced, great bass for BA drivers, and cheap for top-end phones.
$$: HJE900 ($130) - Great sparkle, great bass, great look. Total all-rounders
$: Altec Backbeat Titanium ($45) - For their price, they're surprisingly free of weaknesses. They show their price when I head-to-head against my best. Then again, I'm not taking my TF10s for a run in the rain.
1: UM3X. These were my first REAL top tier IEMs and I loved them to death. Amazing instrument separation and power/bass/speed. Didn't want to change them until I got my K702s and realized the bump in bass that they had.
2: ER4S: Clearer and revealed more detail than the UM3Xs. I sold (1) and have these now and love them; the isolation is amazing. I can't hear anything going on at all when using the foam tips (which are very good IMO).
3: Triple.Fi 10s: They were my go to phones for electronic, metal, rap, and pop music. The bump in the treble and moderate size of the soundstage just made everything pop and have so much energy; great phones to listen to up-beat music with.
Of course I love my K702s more than all of these and if it weren't for the WiFi only working outside (I'm forced to sit by the pool) at the condo, I'd be using those right now.
