I love these "Song From Around The World" by "Playing For Change." It nice to think about and listen to the contributions of the featured famous musicians. It's also very cool to see the talented, local musicians from around the world, many of which are using traditional instruments, and vocals. Such talent, good music man...these are my favorite, there are others...

Thank you for, posting these videos @DLeeWebb .

Very moving pieces!

I enjoyed them all, but particularly liked 'When the Levee Breaks' and 'The Weight' which I thought were brilliant

Maybe you all can help me I always listened to rock and metal many of the bands I liked never made it big. There was a song called something like (the needle and the spoon) not lyneered sknnerd .it was most likely around 1989 to 91. If some one can tell me more details I'd be so grateful

“Desire” by U2 has a reference to “the needle and the spoon.”

“She's a candle burning in my room/Yeah I'm the needle, needle and spoon/Over the counter with a shotgun/Pretty soon everybody got one”
