Thanks for posting this @RCBinTN
This is a bootleg album, recorded & broadcast by the King Biscuit
Flower Hour from two shows at the Spectrum in Montreal on Aug 17,
1984. CD1 was recorded at a pervious show in Philadelphia. At this
point, Stevie was firmly entrenched in his cocaine and alcohol
addiction, so was likely sweating his ass off. But ... his guitar riffs
are just amazing. The set was released in 1994 in memoriam.

I'm ashamed to say I was late 'discovering' SRV; I only really started listening to his stuff about 12 years ago.
What a player he was!
A few years ago, having finally bought all his studio albums, I bought a 9 CD compilation album called 'The Broadcast Collection 1983-89' which was released in 2017.
There are some brilliant performances on here.
It looks like it also includes the 1984 Montreal and Philadelphia shows from the bootleg album.

Stevie's two performances on Austin City Limits, the first whilst addicted and the
second post-rehab. The latter show is much better - crisp and clean. IMO, Stevie
was just coming into his best form when the helicopter crashed. Sad -
For today:

A compilation of the band's eight albums on the Prestige and Pablo
record labels ... the first four are from 1952-55 and the latter four are
1981-85 after their reunion. A 4-CD set, so listening to one CD from
each time period.
It's cooler today, so: LCD-4 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~>
