Another MoonJune band, this one progressive jazz from Napoli, Italia. At first
listen, even snarkier than Snarky Puppy. Not an easy feat to accomplish ...
quite cerebral and complex tunes.


A collaboration between the Texas progressive jazz group and the diverse Metropole
Orkest of Hilversum, Netherlands. This is the studio version; the music was performed
live twice, once each in Paris and Rotterdam. Grammy winner in 2016.

I wanted to compare the two groups. Net - both are nicely snarky in their own way.
Slivovitz is more Balkan/Mediterranean while SP is a bit funkier. Happy listening, all.
